DHI is committed to creating sustainable, efficient communities that deliver real savings and improved living conditions for our residents while enhancing the long-term value and performance of our properties. Our sustainability initiatives include more than 3 megawatts of solar energy systems across our communities, generating approximately 5.5 million kilowatt hours of clean electricity each year and providing an estimated $1.5 million in annual utility savings for residents. Combined with electric vehicle charging infrastructure, solar hot water systems, and innovative rainwater harvesting programs, our efforts to help conserve millions of gallons of water annually while creating healthier, more affordable communities for the families we serve.
