Sierra Sands Apartments exceeds the certification standards for GreenPoint Rated. The integrated design strategy for the development was focused on numerous sustainable considerations including durability, water/energy efficiency, material sourcing, indoor air quality, and carbon reduction. The project includes installing a significant 991.44 kW PV Solar System that will produce 1.5 million kilowatt hours annually. And Sierra Sands Apartments will be fully electric with no gas heating, cooking, or any gas appliances of any type.
