Serving low-income, independent seniors, Hellenic Senior Center Apartments is located in the Pocket-Greenhaven area of Sacramento. This beautiful, garden-style community is comprised of 15 single-story residential buildings housing 69 units and 1 manager's unit (70 total units), plus a clubhouse.

Upgrades throughout the property and common areas included new roofs (with solar panel installations coming soon), new exterior siding and improved attic insulation, upgraded electrical systems, new windows and sliding glass doors. Dishwashers were added to each unit along with energy-efficient appliance replacements and new kitchen cabinets and countertops. New HVACs, low-flow plumbing fixtures, Energy star lighting fixtures and new flooring were installed or replaced. The community building, including a clubhouse with kitchen, leasing office, bathroom and laundry facilities, received similar upgrades.

Seventeen of the units were upgraded to be fully ADA compliant, four were modified for accessibility and two others now meet audio/visual impairment requirements.

The site work included renovations and repairs of the path-of-travel for accessibility, the parking lots, the grounds lighting, landscaping and gazebo.

On-site services for residents include health & wellness services and adult educational classes, programs and activities.
