Very little of the original construction has had any real replacement since its build date of 1981. With this upgrade, the roofing, siding, windows, kitchens, HVAC, baths, and parking lots are being redone. The project is also getting solar panels for electricity generation, and highly efficient hot water heaters for gas use reduction. The hot water distribution system is being replaced in its entirety.
All of this is being competed without permanently displacing a single resident. The property is home to low income residents and their families and will now house people in the most need for a long time to come
