Parkside Apartments

The completion of our project at Parkside Apartments involved a comprehensive range of renovations and improvements across the property.

Building exteriors were significantly upgraded, with the installation of new roofs and roof repairs, replacement of windows and sliding glass doors, and the addition of new exterior siding. Moreover, efforts were made to improve attic insulation for enhanced energy efficiency.

Dwelling units saw substantial modifications, including the transformation of 7 interior units to make them accessible, and the conversion of walk-in showers for 2 additional existing one-bedroom units. Plumbing fixtures, tubs and water heaters were replaced. HVAC systems were installed, along with new electrical sub-panels and dedicated circuits. The cabinets and countertops, kitchen appliances, and interior lighting were all replaced and upgraded. Additionally, dishwashers were added to each dwelling unit, and all new interior and exterior doors with security screens at unit entry doors.

Common areas were not overlooked, with upgrades to site lighting, laundry room and mailboxes. The leasing office was renovated to include new windows and HVAC along with an upgraded electrical system and solar added to community room and manager unit. A brand new community room and a new outdoor gazebo was constructed to serve as a space for community gatherings, enhancing the overall appeal and functionality for residents.

Other notable site work included the renovation and repairs of parking lots, the addition of more carports for residents, modifications to the trash enclosures, and the enhancement of the path of travel on the site to ensure accessibility for all including new accessible ramps. Additionally, a complete overhaul of the existing landscape was undertaken to incorporate drought-tolerant landscaping, further contributing to the aesthetic and environmental sustainability of the property.
